Key Functions
    Division of American and Oceanian Affairs

(DAOA)conducts education exchanges and cooperation with the United States of America, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and countries in Latin America and South Pacific regions.

    DAOA is responsible for formulating bilateral educational exchange policies and strategies; drafting, negotiating, executing bilateral government educational exchange and cooperation agreements; conducting reviews and assessments on the execution of these agreements; administering, coordinating, organizing and monitoring bilateral government educational cooperative projects; establishing and maintaining bilateral working relations and ties with high-level government officials and educational organizations of the countries in the region; facilitating exchange of education delegation visits, etc.
