| Division of American and Oceanian Affairs |

(DAOA)conducts education exchanges and cooperation with the United States of America, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and countries in Latin America and South Pacific regions.
|
| DAOA is responsible for formulating bilateral educational exchange policies and strategies; drafting, negotiating, executing bilateral government educational exchange and cooperation agreements; conducting reviews and assessments on the execution of these agreements; administering, coordinating, organizing and monitoring bilateral government educational cooperative projects; establishing and maintaining bilateral working relations and ties with high-level government officials and educational organizations of the countries in the region; facilitating exchange of education delegation visits, etc. |
